A Bit About Me
Susan Harrison McMichael was born and raised in Arizona. She has worn various career hats: English teacher, librarian, business owner, paralegal, and resume writer. As a youngster Susan lived in small towns across the northern part of Arizona where her highway engineer father and her southern belle mother were part of a team that blazed roads and bridges across a burgeoning region. She was raised on the outskirts of Phoenix pre air-conditioning and pre-television. Now Susan writes homespun tales of a four-generation family that came to Arizona in territorial days and paved the way for a modern progressive state.
