Born in Altonah, Utah, attended high school in Murray, Utah, and a short while at the University of Utah. Oscar became interested in writing at an advanced age, compiling seven or eight family history and genealogy books before writing westerns. He is working on a book of memoirs and resides in Sun City, AZ.
