She is a retired teacher and talented nature and landscape photographer, often inserting elements of visual lyricism in her writing. In addition to her work as an author, she is a freelance editor and author advocate. As a writer of compelling fiction, her short stories and novels have encompassed historical fiction adventure to romantic magic realism to suspense. Among other qualifications, she is a registered nurse who is able to offer technical insights into the field of medicine, both present theory and practice as well as the historical past.
