A Bit About Me
Hi, friend!
Welcome! I’m Jenna - a poet with a retro soul, and a wild love for rhetoric.
My writing lives in the quiet weight of being - the subtle spaces where grief settles, resilience breathes, and vulnerability dares to speak. I’m drawn to what’s left unsaid, the moments between sentences, and the emotional echoes we carry in silence. My poems try to hold these fragile truths with tenderness - letting them breathe without explanation.
Whether I’m writing about invisible wounds, unspoken love, or the longing tucked into everyday gestures, I hope to offer something that makes you feel less alone, more seen.
To me, poetry is both mirror and refuge - a way to make sense of the hard things, while honoring their beauty. It presses language into the soft, raw places of life and says, “this matters, too.”
When I’m not lost in a poem, you’ll find me scrapbooking like it’s nobody’s business, learning a new language for fun, or singing full volume to 70s and 80s hits (Fleetwood Mac and Queen live rent-free in my head). I’m a crafty beast with glittery fingers, washi tape on my desk, and a playlist always spinning something retro. I like things with soul - art, music, people, words - and try to show up with that same kind of realness.
In all things, I aim to lead with heart, write with honesty, and keep things delightfully weird. Thanks for being here - I’m so glad our paths crossed.
