A Bit About Me

For over 30 years I worked as a technical writer and certified technical trainer. One day I was talking with a co-worker about my desire to write a novel and my fear of failure. He said, “If you can make this technical stuff interesting, then you can write a novel.”

I took his words to heart and in 2019 I entered the realm of fiction by creating a character called “The Algorithm Man, America’s Cyber Sleuth”. The Algorithm Man uses a keen analytical mind to solve cybercrimes. The result was a four-novelette series of eBooks published under the pen name J. Salvatore Domino.

Since that time, I have let my imagination run wild, publishing hundreds of Flash Fiction, Short Fiction, and the occasional Memoir through blogging platforms like Medium.com and ActiveRain.com.

In 2024 I packaged a collection of those short stories, each only a few minutes long, into a book titled “A Few Minutes Time”. It’s a great solution for readers pressed for time.

I enjoy writing character-driven stories about ordinary people in extraordinary situations.

My classic whodunit, “The DiMarco Incident,” is about Ned Tabor, a civil engineer. When Ned’s friend and partner disappears mysteriously. Ned takes it upon himself to investigate and discovers a conspiracy to steal millions in taxpayer funds.

In my novel “Saint Joseph”, an investigative journalist travels the globe researching the hidden story behind the versions reported by the mainstream media. When coerced by his editor to put a new spin on a widely reported murder investigation, Saint Joseph uncovers more than he bargained for. The investigation changes his life forever.

My latest novel, “Your Undercover Brother” is a tongue-in-cheek mystery about a private investigator named Able Body who always seems to be out of sync with the world around him. With the help of a stellar supporting cast, Able races to solve the mystery before the police arrest the wrong person.

I grew up in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A., but currently based in Scottsdale, Arizona. Having been fortunate to travel the world, I enjoy setting storylines from across the country and the globe.
