A Bit About Me
Elvis Bray is an American author specializing in crime/ suspense fiction, and war novels. He served two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter crew chief and 35 years in law enforcement. He has published five books, The Presence of Justice, Dual Therapy, The Presence of Conflict, The Raven and the Dove, and Fading Memories of An Old Soldier, available in paperback, Kindle, and audio on Amazonbooks.com.
The Presence of Justice and Dual Therapy were finalists in the Arizona Authors' Assn. book contest around 2016 and 2017. The Raven and The Dove won a silver medal and Fading Memories of an Old Soldier won a bronze medal in the 2024 book contest from the Military Writers Society of America.
Elvis also helps veterans with PTSD write their stories. Elvis has completed a screenplay from his book, Dual Therapy, which received a recommend from Extreme Screenwriters out of LA. It was the feathered screenplay of the month of June 2019 in their monthly newsletter. Mr. Bray also wrote a short story called, Christmas in New Iberia that was published in a book of Christmas stories for the Children’s hospital. Mr. Bray lives in Queen Creek, Arizona with his wife, three horses, two dogs, and a cat he doesn't claim.
