Valerie Foster is an award-winning educator, and the author of two non-fiction narrative books, and a short story. The Risk of Sorrow is now archived in six countries. Dancing With a Demon was named Best Nonfiction Narrative by American Book Fest and Finalist by International Book Awards. Her short story, “Loss,” was published in River Poets Anthology.

She was also contributing essayist/editor of Women Wronged: Discrimination, Repression, and Sexism from the Sixties to Now. With public speaking in Vancouver - British Columbia, Los Angeles, San Diego, Texas, New Jersey, and throughout Arizona, she has been featured in several magazine and television/radio interviews. A recipient of the Shofar Zakhor Award for Holocaust Education, Valerie lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, Tom, and welcomes conversations with her readers at valeriefos@gmail.com.
