Thelma Rea was an avid reader growing up in Pittsburgh and always wanted to be a writer. Her chance came after she and her executive husband ditched their lives and bought nine run-down cottages on Table Rock Lake in the Ozarks. After eleven years of funny, bittersweet and tragic events, she finally had a story worth telling. She immersed herself in writing classes, finally emerging with Bittersweet Resort. She has also written two unpublished novels.
