"I Know What You Do When I Go to School." It started with a question I kept wondering about: What does my mom do while I’m away at school? In my imagination, she was eating chocolate cake, watching movies, and having the best day ever! But in real life, my mom is a pediatric oncologist—a doctor who helps kids who are battling cancer.

That’s when I realized that sometimes parents are quiet superheroes. Now that I’m 13, I’ve updated the story and the artwork, and my book is being published by Story Monsters Press!
