Kathy McIntosh

Published Author, Editor

Kathy McIntosh loves words, food and adventure. Not able to travel—or eat—constantly, she writes about a female chef and guide for an ecotouring company. She set her first two novels in the wilds of North Idaho, dealing with subjects of canned hunts, faux safari camps, hog farms, kidnapping, murder, wind energy, and money laundering with a dollop of humor and a bias toward conservation.

Kathy and her husband moved to Tucson from southern Idaho. Together they explore the country and cuisine of the Sonoran Desert. Her first Adventure Calls novel dealt with murder on the Sonoran Desert; her latest, Murder, Cottonwood Style, is set in Cottonwood, Arizona—neighbor to Sedona but with fewer vortexes and several excellent restaurants.
