Don Doerres spent 50 years in his engineering career. Most of his time was spent in the space program, writing software for spacecraft, performing tests on spacecraft as they were under development, and maintaining and updating software on spacecraft in flight. Now that he is retired, he is devoting his time to writing an eclectic collection of material ranging from science fiction to biography and history.
