Hello. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I became an avid reader and lover of books while growing up in Oak Park, Illinois. I grew up on Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy mysteries and still love a good mystery. I continued enjoying books and being creative as both a mother and teacher of primary grades for over 25 years.
One of my goals as a mother and teacher was to instill a love of reading. I literally began reading the classics to my son the day he came home from the hospital. When we adopted our daughter, it took a while for her to develop an interest in books, and we finally got her listening to books on tape and exploring unusual genres. As a teacher I shared my passion for books and learning through the Magic Tree House series, Jan Brett’s beautifully illustrated books, and again the classics.
I often used real events to tell stories. I then tried my hand at writing for children, stories based on actual events. Publishing my stories became a new phase of my life as I share my tales with others. I now live in Arizona with my husband and a variety of pets.
PUBLICATIONS
"Every night, Ethan got into his pajamas, brushed his teeth, said his prayers, kissed his mom and dad, "goodnight", and went to bed. He would soon fall soundly asleep, cuddled up to his favorite bear. But this night something would be different."
One night Ethan discovers he's not alone in his bedroom. He has a visitor who's just too noisy and Ethan's not sure what to do. He discovers the solution is easier than he thought.
This book is to help children to discover sometimes something will appear scary and too big to handle but the solution to the problem might be very simple, and they should not be afraid to bring it up.

As Alice Hemlock is traveling to the Witches’ Festival, she begins encountering troubles that slow her down. Growing hungry as she makes her way to the festival, Alice needs to rely on her wits in order to eat. She convinces a town she can make stew with just water and an enchanted rock.
Based on the fable, “Stone Soup”, this story puts a little twist on it with some different characters.

Jenny enjoyed spending time with her grandmother. They played games, did puzzles, cooked, baked, and much more. One of Jenny's favorite things was helping her grandmother work on her coin collection. They spent a great deal of time together until her grandmother went away. But then something happened that let Jenny know her grandmother was good and thinking of her. This book is about having a special relationship with someone and remaining connected even after they leave.
