David B. Gilmore is an award winning American author of historical and contemporary fiction. His inspiration for writing has its foundation in twentieth century authors such as Hemingway, Tavern, Hilton, and F. Scott Fitzgerald. He is currently working on a series of suspense novels set during World War Two, and a collection of short stories.

As an avid reader, David is always reading at least one fiction and non-fiction book at all times. When not writing, he enjoys modern classic automobiles, traveling and exploring ancient archaeological sites. He lives in the mountains of the American Southwest.
