CHRISTINE HAESE was born in Arizona, is a published author, and shares her life with her husband, family, two mules, and their rescue dog. She currently creates nonfiction and Western/Neo-Western novels drawing on her journal entries of colorful characters, wilderness adventures, native plants, foraging, livestock, pets, wildlife, and wild lives.

Christine’s nonfiction work has appeared in High Country News, NPR Earth Notes, Bird Watcher’s Digest, Organic Gardening, and Flower & Garden Magazine.
