Set in Arizona, the story is about a shy 17 year old of 1967 who finds a secret door in the Carnegie Library and, with a gentle magical nudge, lands in 1907 Prescott. She has much to learn and adapt to while searching for a way to get back to her home. She meets historical characters and discovers what's really important.
